Bringing a Zombie Game to Life... With Zombies

To celebrate the launch of Arizona Sunshine 2, a highly-anticipated sequel to the critically acclaimed Arizona Sunshine VR game, the PICO team invited content creators and influencers to the Red Bull Gaming Sphere in Shoreditch, London.

The team transformed Red Bull's gaming lounge into an area inspired by the game's setting, with props scattered across the venue and deep red lighting to match the game's gruesome theme - plus a DJ to set the vibe.

To increase immersion for our special guests, we hired zombie actors (yes, that's a thing!) to roam the area and pose for pictures. We worked with the game developer and the actors to ensure they behaved similarly to zombies in-game - meaning we had to direct real-life zombies on how to pose, walk, and act.

We also created real-life PICO loot boxes and hid them around the venue. The first creator to find a specific loot crate took home a PICO 4 headset.

The event was successful, with KOLs generating organic content around PICO, the game, and the overall experience.
